Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need a physician referral?

No. Some plans require a referral for reimbursement—check your coverage details.

  • How long is the first appointment?

    60–90 minutes. Follow-ups are typically 30–45 minutes.

  • Telehealth or home visit—what should I choose?

Telehealth works well for coaching and most rehab. Choose home visits if pain, mobility, or equipment needs make travel hard.

  • Can I switch providers?

Exercise has been proven to be safe for most individuals. In certain circumstances, however, exercise may not be appropriate. At Hyperion, we will conduct a thorough pre-screening and assessment to ensure that your exercise participation is safe. Exercise participation is not without risks. Before beginning an exercise program, please consult your physician if you have concerns about how exercise may affect your conditions.

Over the last 10 years, a significant amount of research has shown that remote rehabilitation and health consultations can be as effective as in-person sessions. Furthermore, remote sessions result in a greater sense of control and self-efficacy, leading to improved outcomes. For more information, refer to Marti et al., 2021

  • Will you update my doctor?

With your consent, we’ll share a summary and progress updates.

  • What’s your cancellation policy?
