My name is Tristan Hogue


Tristan is a certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist with a Master's in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary.

In addition to his work as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist at Hyperion Exercise and Health, he currently works at the Canadian Sports Institute Alberta, conducting physiological assessments for elite athletes and developing personalized training plans.

Tristan has experience as a Sports Science Marketing Manager at COROS Wearables, where he led global marketing initiatives and created educational content.

He has also served as a Strength & Conditioning Coach, designing and overseeing training programs for diverse clients. Tristan holds certifications in cycling coaching and advanced wilderness first aid.

Her career spans various long-term and acute care environments across Alberta where she conducts personalized nutrition assessments, develops tailored care plans, and performs swallow assessments to enhance health and quality of life.

Brian Naveed is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with extensive experience in cardiopulmonary assessment, chronic disease management, and health coaching. Currently completing his Master of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary, Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Distinction and is certified as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CSEP-CEP).

Brian brings a dynamic clinical and academic background to Hyperion, having conducted VO₂max and cardiopulmonary exercise testing in both hospital and research settings, including Rockyview General Hospital, Total Cardiology, and the Alberta Cancer Exercise Study.

His work has supported patients with cardiovascular, pulmonary, cancer-related, and metabolic conditions, helping them improve fitness, health outcomes, and quality of life through evidence-based interventions.

My name is Jesse Oswald


Jesse is the founder of Hyperion.

He graduated from the University of Calgary in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. In 2022, he completed a master's degree in Kinesiology from the same university. Jesse also holds certificates in Clinical Exercise Physiology through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP). Currently, he is an MD candidate and is expected to graduate in 2026 with interest in Family Medicine and Sports and Exercise Medicine.

Jesse has over ten years of experience working as a clinical kinesiologist and exercise physiologist in Calgary. His expertise lies in chronic pain and osteoarthritis (OA) management as well as orthopaedic rehabilitation.

He firmly believes that everyone has the power to take control of their health and wellness. Through exercise and education, Jesse aims to help individuals move better and live healthier, more active lives.
